چکیده
Abstract The present paper focuses on developing a novel virtual representation framework for optimizing standalone hazardous waste rotary kiln incineration plants. A digital support tool can be provided to optimize the plant's management, operation, and maintenance by combining thermochemical-based simulation models with fuel classification system. First of all, used determine composition not entirely analyzed streams. Furthermore, determined compositions historically fed streams enable further advanced applications. are linked appropriate code supplier, which first enables monitoring delivered In case recurring fractions, barrel sequence reach homogenous inputs. Additionally, plant operation optimized regarding stable conditions due knowledge about fractions. parametrization results fit very well comparable sensor values. Therefore, could definitely make reasonable contribution efficiency thermal treatment within sector in Austria Europe. Graphical

Modelling of the Fuel Stream and Combustion in a Rotary-kiln Hazardous Waste Incinerator
Hazardous wastes from various industrial processes are normally incinerated with rotary kilns in order to comply with current environmental regulations. They have often very complicated chemical compositions in a variety of physical forms and difficult to characterise. The complex transport phenomena within the incinerator are not well understood, and the incineration process expects large unce...
متن کاملHazardous waste management problem: The case for incineration
We define the hazardous waste management problem as the combined decisions of selecting the disposal method, siting the disposal plants and deciding on the waste flow structure. The hazardous waste management problem has additional requirements depending on the selected disposal method. In this paper we focus on incineration, for which the main additional requirement is to satisfy the air pollu...
متن کاملHazardous Waste Disposal by Thermal Oxidation
Ideally, the flue gas resulting from high-temperature oxidation of hydrocarbons (HC) contains CO 2 , H 2 O, N 2 , O 2 and some acceptable levels of oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and oxides of sulfur (SOx). In reality, the flue gas from a combustion process contains CO 2 , H 2 O, N 2 , O 2 and some concentration of carbon monoxide (CO), unburned hydrocarbons (UHC), NOx and SOx .
